Unforgettable Wyoming Fly Fishing Adventures

Deeply Personalized. Expertly Guided.

From our home base in Thermopolis, Wyoming, Wyoming Trout Wrangler delivers exceptional guided fly fishing trips on the legendary Bighorn River and across the state’s finest blue-ribbon waters.

We pride ourselves on a deeply personalized service. We refuse to treat you like "just another client." Instead, we take the time to understand your unique goals and tailor every detail of your day on the water, ensuring an unmatched, unforgettable fly fishing experience whether you are a seasoned angler or picking up a rod for the first time.

Our Seasonal Waters

  • The Bighorn River (March – November): Our home water. While the fishing is incredible all season long, the crisp days and uncrowded waters of the Spring and Fall seasons are our absolute favorite time to be on the river.

  • The Summer Pinedale Season (June – August): When the summer heat hits, we head west to Pinedale to guide the pristine, freestone currents of the Green River, New Fork, Salt, and Snake Rivers.

  • The North Platte (Spring – Fall): Experience premier float trips out of Saratoga, tackling one of the most productive trout fisheries in the Rocky Mountain West.

  • Outlaw Canyon (Spring Run-Off Dependent): For a short window every spring, we offer exclusive, rugged walk-and-wade trips on the Middle Fork of the Powder River through the infamous Outlaw Canyon.

  • High-Country Alpine Lakes & Streams: Looking for pristine solitude? Ask us about our custom backcountry treks to hidden alpine waters across the state.
